We have been involved in the industry in Fiji for the past 9 years, specialising in contract work for most of the major developments including 5 star resorts and airport duty free stores.

In 1996 we entered the international market for supplying solid timber entrance doors to New Zealand and are currently one of the top 5 suppliers in this market.

In 1997 we entered the Australian market with our solid timber entrance doors and are enjoying considerable success also.

As Modern Furniture’s owners and managers we all have extensive hands on experience in the building, designing and joinery fields, and together with our staff are able to tackle any size project to see a clients requirements fulfilled.

In the past two years we have been manufacturing custom furniture for resorts in the Fiji islands and pride ourselves with the quality and craftsmanship achieved.

Fiji has the only Mahogany Plantation Resource available in the world and Modern Furniture have been working closely with Government agencies for the past 5 years to secure this resource for down stream processing.

With Mahogany in Mind we have been fabricating furniture and entrance doors to an international standard whilst developing production line systems for future exports.
